Kimel’s idea is a great one, and one that should motivate youths of Tanzania who have the knowledge and ability to teach to do the same. This is a great example of how entrepreneurship and education can go hand in hand without colliding. I think something like peer2peer tutor in Tanzania will be able to do two things. First, it will attract the youths with the knowledge and ability to teach, people like Khan of Tanzania, to help their fellow Tanzanians. I am talking about people who have the real passion for education but don’t want to get mixed up with the Tanzanian education system which is not so great in so many ways, just to say the least.
Secondly, this is a great entrepreneurship opportunity where people will help others and at the same time make money while doing so. Since Tanzania doesn’t have enough teachers, and even those few teachers that we have not all of them are competent, so here is the challenge for my fellow youths of Tanzania who have the knowledge and the passion for education to do what Kimel has done.
