Do you enjoy writing online? Do you have many thoughts about education that you want to share with others? Are you willing to submit an essay for a competition?
If your answer is yes, this year’s Blogging Prize from the NUHA Foundation may be just the competition for you.
NUHA was founded in 2008 with the aim of stimulating critical literacy. According to their website, “the [blogging] competition has been established as an international platform to debate issues of education and development, and to provide an opportunity for authors to be published and to develop their self-confidence.”
Writers of all ages are welcome to submit their essays in the following categories:
- Young Writers’ prize: For those born between 2001 and 2005 (Prize: About £50)
- Youth Prize: For those born between 1997 and 2000 (Prize: About £100)
- Adult Prize: For those born before 1997 (Prize: About £150)
To submit your piece, fill out this form and send it along with your piece to bloggingprizes-english[at]nuhafoundation.org. All submissions are due 18th October 2015.
