Accenture, Tanzania, and virtual education

In this video by Accenture, we learn about a new public-private partnership in Tanzania – called Tanzania Beyond Tomorrow – that aims to extend the reach of current secondary school teachers to serve all the schools that have been built.

In what ways do you think the Internet is being used to extend the reach of teachers? Do you think this project is solving the root problem of education attainment? Is there a difference between what students learn in school, and what they learn outside on the streets?
